Urban League Partners with St. Louis Community College to Host 2nd Annual Job Fair in Ferguson


The Urban League of Metropolitan St. Louis is partnering with St. Louis Community College to host a Job Fair 10 a.m. – 2 p.m., Saturday, September 12, at the Florissant Valley campus. The campus is located at 3400 Pershall Road in Ferguson.


“We are happy to partner with the Urban League and provide this opportunity for our community,” said Ruby Curry, president of St. Louis Community College – Florissant Valley.


“We are excited to provide much-needed services and resources to distressed residents in North County. Nearly 100 employers will be on site at this year’s job fair,” said Michael P. McMillan, president and CEO of the Urban League of Metropolitan St. Louis, Inc.


The Ferguson Job Fair is sponsored by Regional Business Council, USBank Home State Health, America’s Job Center of St. Louis County and SLATE.


The Urban League of Metropolitan St. Louis is a social service and advocacy organization that works to fulfill its mission of Empowering Communities and Changing Lives.
