Urban League Partners with St. Louis Community College to Host Job and Resource Fair in Ferguson

The Urban League of Metropolitan St. Louis is partnering with St. Louis Community College to host a Job and Resource Fair 10 a.m. – 2 p.m., Saturday, Sept. 13, at the Florissant Valley campus. The campus is located at 3400 Pershall Road in Ferguson.

 

The fair will provide residents of Ferguson, Dellwood and North County with job and educational opportunities, free food and toiletries, as well as recreational activities for youth.

 

“We are happy to partner with the Urban League and provide this opportunity for our community,” said Ruby Curry, president of St. Louis Community College – Florissant Valley.

 

“We are excited to provide much-needed services and resources to distressed residents in North County,” said Michael P. McMillan, president and CEO of the Urban League of Metropolitan St. Louis, Inc.

 

The Ferguson Job and Resource Fair is sponsored by St. Louis Community College, Emerson, The Salvation Army, St. Louis Area Food Bank, Regional Business Council, USBank and America’s Job Center of St. Louis County,

  1. First of all, how are you doing? I rexently earned my Masters, applying for jobs, but nothing si far. Whenever, I leave a message to get information for energy assistance there’s no help!! My income is $250 monthly, and it’s only by the grace of God I’m making it……. If i didn’t need it believe me I wouldn’t ask! Can you all assist me? Thanks for your time.
