McMillan, who formerly served as License Collector and Alderman for the City of St. Louis, is truly humbled by this unique honor.  “I am truly grateful to Ebony Magazine for selecting me for this honor. It is very inspirational to be selected as a keeper of the dream which was created by the great men and women who have gone before me. As a result, I look forward to continuing the work and mission of the Urban League to empower African Americans and others in the St. Louis region,” McMillan said.
